Rice workshop in Barcelona

Dynamic, participative and fun cooking class, in the the private home of a professional chef. Learn a variety of traditional Spanish recipes: Black rice (with squid ink), Risotto of mushrooms with Foie, Brothy rice of monkfish and prawns, rice Pudding with milk. Optional for private groups: change the “Soupy Rice with Monkfish” for “Seafood Paella”.Before starting the cooking class, you will have the chance to try several Tapas from different cities in Spain, accompanied by fine wine with denomination of origin, mineral water, beer..Rice is the most consumed cereal in the world because of its versatility and can be prepared in many ways. It is a flagship product of the Mediterranean diet. Moreover, it can be a great challenge for any cook to know the exact doneness, giving much game at the time of mixing it with other ingredients, making something that seems simple in a true work of art.Proposal of tasting menu for this workshop: • Brothy rice of monkfish with prawns.• Black rice.• Risotto of ceps with Foie.• Rice pudding with milk.• Wine with origin denomination and mineral water, beer or coca-cola.• Coffee or tea.
