Description

The Museum is considered to have one of the best collections of Romanesque art in the world, in addition to a wide variety of works in the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque art. Visitors will be treated to a journey from the Romanesque through to the mid 20th-century. Its collections include all artistic disciplines: sculpture, painting, photography, drawing, engravings, posters and coins. What will you see? The bulk of the MNAC collection is formed by works by Catalan artists which offer a global view of the art of Catalonia. You'll find artists such as El Greco, Zurbarán, Velázquez, Fortuny, Gaudí, Dalí and Picasso. Don't miss The two terraces-observation decks located on the rooftop, offering a unique view of Barcelona.
