What to see Some of fascinating places to visit in the area include the church of Nuestra Señora de las Angustias and the 16th century San Francisco church; the 15th century El Salvador church; and the impressive stately houses known as Casas de Indianos. We also recommend exploring the area around the Parador hotel. Once there, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Ayamonte and the mouth of the Guadiana river. The superb local cuisine includes fresh seafood, fried fish platters, grilled sardines, tuna with onions and stuffed tuna. Beaches Just five kilometres away lie the golden beaches of Canela and Moral. They are both very popular in the summer. You can also take a boat trip and enjoy all kinds of water sports. There are several excellent golf courses in the area as well.
