With 161 kilometres of coastline extending through the province of Malaga, any season is a good time to visit the area and enjoy the sunshine and beaches. The fabulous climate, picturesque villages, isolated coves, mile upon mile of pristine beaches, spectacular beauty spots and the warm Mediterranean Sea are just some of the star attractions on the Costa del Sol. You'll find lots of idyllic beaches such as Algarrobo, Guadalmar and Malapesquera. What can you do? Nature lovers can explore the Sierra de las Nieves Nature Reserve and the Sierra de Grazalema Nature Reserve or even try caving and canyoning. One of Malaga's main attractions is, of course, golf, with around fifty excellent courses in places like Marbella, Malaga and Estepona. Take a stroll around Puerto Banús, where you'll find luxury yachts and exclusive boutiques. You can also enjoy a day of culture by visiting some of the area's monumental landmarks such as the cathedral or the Alcazaba (Arab citadel) in Malaga. Don't miss the chance to visit the Picasso Museum in Malaga, dedicated to the city's most famous son. When you fancy indulging yourself and taking things easy, what better than a trip to one of the many spas or beauty salons.
