Boat trips around Ibiza

Ibiza

The pleasure of sailing and discovering the beauty of the island

A boat trip off the shore of Ibiza is a delight. You can reach the most spectacular coves and beaches on the island while you enjoy one of the most wonderful ways to travel. The gentle movement of the waves, the sun on your skin, the sea breeze on your face… Who could resist?

A relaxing swim at Platges de Comte, lunch at Cala Bassa, watching the famous sunset from the Café del Mar… these are experiences you can enjoy when you take a boat trip on Ibiza. There are several companies on the island offering trips by sailboat or catamaran, for a few hours, half a day, or a whole day, according to the preferences of the customer. The main boarding points are at San Antonio de Portmany, Santa Eulària des Rius and Eivissa. However, depending on the type of excursion you choose, they can also pick passengers up from any beach on the coast. The fees usually include taxes, fuel, and the services of the skipper. Some companies also provide snacks on board, so we recommend checking first to see what equipment and services are provided as part of the trip (food and drink, port fees, extra boats, etc.) and what extras are available.

Sailboat at the Sant Antoni i Sant Josep Marine Resort

A memorable voyage

Excursions and organised tours let you discover some of the most fabulous spots in Ibiza from the sea. Many of the scheduled departures set sail from Sant Antoni de Portmany, dropping anchor in spectacular coves like Cala Bassa or Cala Salada, or beaches like Platges de Comte. The transparent water may tempt you to swim or snorkel, and if you land, you’ll find plenty of excellent restaurants on the shore.Illa Conillera is another point of special interest on these trips. This little island is a nature reserve, so you can’t land on it, but you can swim around it with goggles and snorkel, accompanied by shoals of fish.

Of course, enjoying the beautiful sunsets of Ibiza is an essential part of the trip. With the boat anchored, you’ll have front-row seats to watch the sun gradually sink below the horizon, while you catch that last green ray.

Excursion from Ibiza to Formentera

One boat trip option is to sail from Ibiza to Formentera, passing by spots like the islet Espalmador, or disembarking on the famous Illetes beach.
