Castro de Viladonga Archaeological Museum

  This museum is an ideal complement to a visit to the fortified settlement of Viladonga, and is particularly worth visiting for the quality and quantity of the archaeological remains on display. It is situated at the foot of the defensive wall of this Galician-Roman settlement, and contains a range of objects from the everyday life of the village dating back almost 2,000 years. Its collection comes from the excavations carried out at the site, which uncovered numerous items, including weapons, games, farm tools, ornaments, etc.
