This museum is located in the Encarnación Church, a historical Dominican convent, dating back to the early16th century.

The collection includes magnificent silver pieces, as well as vestments and ornaments created between the 16th and 20th centuries and other historical objects like sculptures, paintings and ceramics. It also features a library specialising in religious art. The church has a gothic interior, while the façade is in the Renaissance style.
