Flamenco Biennial

Description

This is one of the key events in the world of flamenco, and it takes place every two years in Seville. For several weeks, various venues throughout the city host an array of premières and performances by the top names in flamenco and by the up-and-coming new talent. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the art of flamenco, declared a part of our World Heritage by the UNESCO. The shows cover all the genres including singing, dance and flamenco guitar. The events in the festival take place in venues like the monumental Real Alcázar and the theatres of La Maestranza, Lope de Vega and El Central, to name just a few. There are also exhibitions, workshops and film screenings relating to the art of flamenco.
