Alcalá de Henares Film Festival – Alcine

The Heritage City of Alcalá de Henares, in Madrid, is hosting a new edition of its short film festival.

Created in 1983, the festival has been a launch pad for important Spanish directors like Alejandro Amenábar, Isabel Coixet and Fernando León de Aranoa. At the same time as the official short films section, there is a feature film section for new directors. Also, in view of raising the festival's international profile, it has included an official section for European films since 2007.
