Almagro International Classical Theatre Festival

The Almagro International Classical Theatre Festival, held every year in July in the historic city of the Castilla-La Mancha region, has become a must-attend summer event that gathers over 60,000 audience members to enjoy a one-of-a-kind cultural experience. It's main location is the Corral de Comedias, a stage that remains just as active as it was nearly 400 years ago.

For one month both in this theatre and others, among them the Antigua Universidad Renacentista, the Patio de Fúcares, the Teatro Municipal and so on up to over twenty places will host a diverse international programme of performing and visual arts. The programme will be topped off with workshops and events in which participants of all ages will discover different ways to enjoy theatre in the summer.
