Barcelona Cathedral

Work on this Gothic cathedral lasted 150 years. Its interior houses magnificent Gothic and Baroque altarpieces, the baptistery, the tomb of Saint Eulalia and various Gothic and modern stained-glass windows. The biggest treasure it holds is the Monstrance, made of silver and decorated with jewels. The chapel of the Holy Innocents gives access to the lifts that take you up to the viewing terraces. From there you can see the two bell towers, the cloister, the two side pinnacles and the dome with the image of Saint Elena. You also have a panoramic view of Barcelona. The conventual mass is celebrated on Sundays, with the famous Francesc Valls Chamber Choir.
