Gaudí’s "Capricho"

Description

The 19th-century work of Antonio Gaudí. His modernist style combines music and architecture. A highlight is the cylindrical tower, decorated with ceramic borders depicting sunflowers. Stained-glass windows depict images of animals playing a variety of instruments, from a dragonfly with a guitar to a sparrow playing an organ. The iron decoration was an attempt by Gaudí to break the mould of his time. To enter you have to cross a pavilion with four stone columns. If you visit, you can also eat there, because it is now a restaurant. El Capricho and Casa Vicens are Gaudí's first buildings.
