Cantabrian Maritime Museum

Description

The Cantabrian Maritime Museum is a homage to the sea from this region in northern Spain. An incredible journey through man's relationship with the maritime world throughout history, in a modern and attractive building where you can discover the secrets of the underwater and nautical world. What will you see? Once inside, you'll find the exhibition is divided into four sections: 'Life on the sea', featuring nature and marine biology; 'Fishermen and the fishing industry'; 'The Cantabrian and the sea throughout history'; and 'State-of-the-art technology and the sea'. Don't miss The opportunity to discover the waters of the Cantabrian Sea through its twenty seawater aquaria, stocked with a wide variety of native fish; and its collection of historical photographs, prints and equipment used in the fishing and naval construction industries.
