Dalí Theatre-Museum

Housed in the building that was formerly the municipal theatre, it is considered the largest surrealist object in the world. This museum was designed in its entirety by Salvador Dalí, and invites you to step into a unique and captivating world. The exhibition in this Theatre-Museum includes some of the great works by Dalí from his early beginnings through to his final creations. What will you see? Almost 1,500 works including paintings, jewellery, optical montages, holograms, photographs and sculptures. You'll also be able to view some of his great creations such as 'Port Alguer' and 'Galatea of the Spheres', in addition to works by other artists whom Dalí wished to be present, including El Greco, Marià Fortuny and Marcel Duchamp. Dalí created some works specifically for this Theatre-Museum, like the Mae West Room and the Palace of the Wind Room. Don't miss During the summer months you can enjoy a visit to the Theatre-Museum by night.
