Torrox

Málaga

Roman remains and Moorish heritage on the Mediterranean coast.

Torrox is most outstanding for its beaches and its historic-artistic heritage. Close to the lighthouse you will find Roman archaeological remains, as well as 15th century watchtowers. A stroll through the centre is well recommended. It has narrow streets, whitewashed houses and balconies bedecked with flowers, and is home to the picturesque Plaza de la Constitución Square and the 17th century Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación Church.
