What to see For an excellent view you shouldn't miss a visit to the highest part of Benalmádena, the site of the town's historic centre, where you'll also find the Jardines del Muro gardens, designed by César Manrique. From the observation point –on a clear day and in good light– you can see the coast of Africa. As you go down to the beachfront, you'll see the unusual Bil-Bil castle (in the neo-Arabic style and built in 1934) which is today used as a venue for cultural events, and the Buddhist temple, a gift from a twinned city in Asia. Active tourism In addition to water activities, in Benalmádena has numerous courses where you can play golf. Leisure parks Benalmádena is an excellent place for visiting with the family, with its Butterfly House, waterparks like Selwo Marina, the Tívoli amusement park and the La Paloma park (with a lake, animals, restaurant areas...)
