What to see The most interesting country houses in Benasque include the Palace of the Counts of Ribagorza, Casa Marcial del Río, Casa Juste, Casa Faure and the church of Santa María la Mayor. There are also numerous Romanesque constructions. The area is part of the Posets-Maladeta nature reserve, where you'll be able to see 13 glaciers in the massifs of Posets, Perdiguero and Maladeta, nearly 100 lakes and a multitude of waterfalls. Active tourism There are activities to do all year round. In winter we recommend the Cerler ski resort for winter sports, while in summer you can enjoy riverboarding, kayaking and rafting. If you like hiking and nature, you can take one of the excursions through the nature reserve. An easy route is the Cuenca Moral botanical trail. The Aiguallut geomorphological trail is spectacular, and takes you to glaciers, landslide chutes, faults… Other popular activities are the horse riding routes, mountain bike routes, paragliding… Relaxation And if you want to relax and be pampered, you'll find spas set deep in the mountains like Baños de Benasque and Villas del Turbón.
