What can you do? Enjoy water sports at the many marinas, explore inland hiking paths, visit caves like Cova del Rull in Vall de Ebo valley or go scuba diving off the Cape of San Antonio. The area also has lots of cultural options including archaeological sites dating back to Roman times, castles like Sax, Petrer and Villena, gothic and baroque churches, and modernist towns such as Novelda and Alcoy. And you'll just love the area's outstanding nightlife and its popular “fiestas”, such as Moors and Christians and the famous Bonfires of San Juan.
