What to see There's no question about it. As soon as you arrive, you'll be heading for the bustling Paseo de Les Palmeres that runs alongside Llevant beach. Have a swim or stop off at some of the many seafront bars and cafés that stay open day and night. Salou has long, golden beaches such as Llevant and Platja Llarga as well as spectacular coves. Thanks to its Marine Resort, golf courses and beach sports area, you'll find no end of fun activities to choose from. The seafront promenade known as Paseo de Les Palmeres has impressive monuments such as La Torre de cal Bonet or the monument to King Jaime I. A stroll around the town will take you to other places of interest, such as the Harbour Master's, La Torre Vella, the old railway station, Santa María del Mar church and the amazing Fuente Luminosa fountain. Trips In Salou itself you'll find lovely natural spaces where you can watch the sunset, especially Penya Tallada and Punta del Cavall. The Delta del Ebro Nature Reserve is within easy reach, as are Tarragona, Calafell and Cambrils. If you want some fun and excitement, be sure to visit Port Aventura theme park, one of the biggest and best in Spain.
