The convent was built in the 18th century in Baroque style with Churriqueresque influences. There are columns with composite capitals, topped off with a broken pediment under a balcony. Currently it is the San Jorge Exhibition Centre and territorial delegation of the Department of Culture and Heritage of the Extremadura Council.
